The story behind Atelier Koala

From a creative dream to an own atelier.

For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of creating something with my own hands. That creative urge was always there, but it was waiting for the right moment to truly emerge.

That moment came when the first plotter and other machines moved into our home. What started as a hobby – making unique, personalized gifts for family and friends – quickly grew into something bigger. Nothing gave me more satisfaction than seeing that smile when someone received a gift that was truly made with care and love.

Taking the plunge

Although it was wonderful to work for acquaintances, the urge remained. "What if I truly turn this into my work?" After much brainstorming, designing, and dreaming, we made the decision: we're taking the plunge. Our dream is coming true, and Atelier Koala is the result.

Our greatest source of inspiration

Behind the scenes of Atelier Koala, there's a busy and cozy family life. We are the proud parents of three little sons. They are our biggest supporters, our strictest judges, and above all, our daily source of inspiration. Through them, we know how valuable those small, tangible memories are in a world that sometimes moves very fast.

Little gifts, big moments

At Atelier Koala, we believe that a gift is more than just a physical object. It's a memory, a thank you, or an "I love you" that lasts forever. Every item that leaves our atelier is handled with the same care as those very first gifts for our own family.
